Five Star Auto Service

Milli and the folks at 5 star are outstanding! Helped me figure out several emergencies that kept my 22 yr car on the road. The last fix makes the engine sound like it did when it had 4 miles. Highly recommend Milli and 5 star to anyone looking for a new and reliable mechanic.

Milli is extremely knowledgeable, honest, fair, and reasonable. She takes the time to explain things clearly and always treats her customers with respect. I trust her completely, and she'll be the first person I go to whenever I have a problem with any of my vehicles. Milli and Five Star Auto provide outstanding service, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy mechanic.

I called and spoke with Milli about the problem I was having with my car. She asked great questions, was very knowledgeable, and even gave me an idea of what the issue might be. With the holiday weekend coming up, she was able to get me in for an appointment quickly. I dropped my car off at 7:15 a.m., and by 9:00 a.m. she had already contacted me with the diagnosis and repair cost. I decided to move forward with the repairs, and my car was finished around noon. The whole process was so quick, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience.

I have come here twice now, for a simple oil change and tire rotation, and for fixing an oil leak. Both experiences have been phenomenal! Milli is very thorough, and takes the time to go through exactly what is needed, what she would do, and provides an upfront estimate. Prices are very fair and service is fantastic. I would highly recommend to anyone needing work done on their car!

I recently had my vehicle serviced at Five Star Auto Service, Saint Paul, and I couldn’t be more happy with the experience. Milli was very welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive. They took the time to clearly explain the work that needed to be done and answered all my questions without rushing. I especially appreciated their honesty —no pressure for unnecessary repairs, only straightforward honest advice. Mike did a GREAT job diagnosing the exact issue causing Engine Misfire in all 4 cylinders. It was making the vehicle do rough shaky idling, and odd vibrations while at stop signs. It caused the Check Engine Light, yellow triangle warning light, and VSA sign come up in the dashboard randomly. Old and leaky PCV hose was causing all those problems (Lean air-fuel mixture & Slight surging every few seconds). The pricing was fair and transparent, with no surprise charges. The work was completed on time, and my SUV has been running smoothly since the service. It’s not easy to find an auto shop you can truly trust, but this one stands out for its professionalism and integrity. I would confidently recommend Five Star Auto Service to anyone looking for reliable, honest, and high-quali
